A fantastic sign up bonus
GGPoker* has an exceptional sign-up bonus that will gives new players to their online poker site the chance to earn up to £300 in money and tournament tickets.
It's a very generous offer and we recommend players considering a new site to take a look at what GG is offering.

Not only is there an excellent welcome bonus, but they also give you $60 to play with when you deposit $10 for the first time.
In addition to all that, GG also shares daily freebie gifts to all users, providing free tickets to their range of their poker games. Between the three bonuses, players get a lot of play with the opportunity to build a poker bankroll for free.
Built with amateur players in mind
Everything about GG is about fun. They have a bright and colourful site which has lots of fun little features that stop the games from getting too serious.
There's the chance to "rabbit hunt" (after the hand is over, seeing which cards would have come out). This is a little feature that some amateur players love.
There are also animated faces that you can use to tease other players or show your disgust at your misfortune.
They also offer free bad beat bonuses which are entries into other events and, if you have been really unlucky, a bad beat jackpot.
It all makes for a fun atmosphere at the table and attracts amateur players to their online card rooms.
Creative and fun formats
GG is also a pioneer when it comes to poker formats.
They have the variation of spin and go (spin and gold) and their own take on zoom cash poker. But they also have some other formats not found on other sites.
These games each have their different strategies which means you can make money at them, but the main emphasis is on fun.
GGPoker Rake - holdem cash
GGPoker's rake and tournament fee structure charges the same percentage of the pot regardless of the stakes, making it fairer for lower stakes players but more expensive for higher stakes players.
All tournaments have a very competitive fee of 8%.
Cash games have a 3% rake but they do cap the rake differently depending on stake, skewing it slightly in favour of higher stakes, though less so than other poker sites.
Note: GGPoker does not offer full ring cash poker and their holdem cash tables are "six max".
$0.01/$0.02 - 5% capped at $0.20 (10 big blinds)
$0.25/$0.50 - 5% capped at $4 (8 big blinds)
$2/$5 - 5% capped at $8 (1.6 big blinds)
GGPoker Rake - tournament fees
$10 MTT - Tournament fee $0.80 (8%)
$50 MTT - Tournament fee $4 (8%)
$100 MTT - Tournament fee $8 (8%)
Impressive range of MTTs
Just because GG likes to focus on fun, doesn't mean that they don't have a serious line-up of good quality poker tournaments.
They have daily tournaments of every buy-in and they attract good numbers to their MTTs (multi-table tournaments).
They don't have Sit and Go (single table tournaments) which is a bit of a downside, but that does mean that players on the site are drawn more to each of the other formats described, including the MTTs.
They have a very strong bounty hunter series of games and the tournament structures are fair and balanced.
In conclusion
GGPoker has an excellent offering for new poker players and features that keep players coming back for me.
We're impressed with their emphasis on enjoyment and not taking things too seriously. which is very different from most poker sites.
They offer an exceptional welcome bonus, daily freebies, and unique features to appeal to their target audience of amateur players.
There aren't any sit and go's (single table tournaments) but that slight negative is very small when compared to the many benefits this online poker site offers to its players.
And when it comes to their more serious side and bigger games, they offer excellent choice of buy-ins and games, making this a world class site regardless of your preferred size of buy-in.
